Blake Jenner defends himself against claims made by his ex Melissa Benoist. Page 6 took up an Instagram post by the 28-year-old star this week, in which he dealt with the allegations that Benoist had already made in November 2019.
Jenner stated in his Instagram post that he once threw a phone at his girlfriend in anger and it accidentally hit her face. The star said he took full responsibility for what he did. However, he did share his side of the story of Benoist’s behavior.
Jenner wrote in his post that it was something he would regret for the rest of his life and he wishes he could take it back, but he can’t. The star shared a story about how Melissa treated him in return, and revealed how their romance consisted of a lot of abuse and drama.
For example, Blake said Melissa told him to avoid certain jobs and not to take photos with female co-stars at events. Whenever he fulfilled his various obligations, he claimed Benoist was threatened with physical harm.
He also says that something happened between them that left him with a “traumatic injury” that he didn’t want to delve into. As previously reported, Benoist charged him with similar violations, including not being allowed to participate in various engagements that other men would participate in.
Melissa said their romance has turned into a toxic relationship made up of abuse and other domestic violence issues. Melissa tied the knot with her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood in September 2019 and announced that she would have a baby in March of this year.
In September 2020, Benoist and Chris Wood had their first baby and celebrated the news with a picture on social media. Also, the stars revealed that they named their child Huxley, and they stated that their little boy was “everything”.
Many of Melissa’s co-stars came out to pay tribute to her on her big day, and sources have stated the couple are happier than ever.
