After a month’s presidential election, Donald and Melania Trump reportedly went into quarantine after POTUS’s close advisor Hope Hicks tested positive for the COVID-19 virus! Apparently, Hicks was in close proximity to Donald and so the President’s couple are now in self-isolation to prevent the virus from spreading any further.
After all, it’s no secret that Donald Trump and most of his supporters don’t even like to wear masks, so quarantine is really important!
If the president wasn’t opposed to wearing masks, he might not be at risk of infection right now.
However, it is currently unknown if Donald and Melania have it as they are still waiting for their test results to come back.
In the meantime, of course, it’s quarantine!
The POTUS was the one who announced this and tweeted: “Hope Hicks, who worked so hard without taking a break, just tested positive for Covid-19. Dreadful! The first lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we are starting our quarantine process! ‘
It did so after Hicks took the POTUS to Ohio via Air Force One to hold his first presidential debate with Joe Biden.
She also escorted him to various outings the next day and began feeling some of the COVID-19 symptoms on the return flight before testing positive this morning.
Hicks was caught on camera and left the plane without a face mask.
During a live interview for Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Trump also said, “She tested positive and I just took a test. So whether we are under quarantine or whether we have it, I don’t know. Who knows? … We spend a lot of time with Hope so we’ll see what happens. It’s very, very hard when you’re with people in the military or law enforcement and they come up to you and want to hug you and kiss you because we did a really good job for them. She is a very warm person with them. She knows there is a risk, but she is young. ‘
