Julia Louis-Dreyfus Announces ‘Veep’ Virtual Reunion As Biden Benefit – Deadline

Julia Louis-Dreyfus today announced a virtual cast meeting from Veep as a fundraiser for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and Biden-Harris’s presidential campaign.

“All roads to the White House lead through the great state of Wisconsin,” said the former Seinfeld actress in a video tweet (see below), adding, “The future of democracy is at stake, folks!”


At the upcoming reunion, Veep actors Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumskey, Reid Scott, Sam Richardson, Tony Hale, Tim Simons, Clea DuVall and Matt Walsh will be present with showrunner David Mandel. Additional special guests are expected.

The event will be broadcast live only once on Sunday, October 4th at 6:00 p.m. (CT). Donations of any amount are accepted, with all contributions going to benefit the Wisconsin Democratic Party.

HBO’s political satire Veep, created by Armando Iannucci, played Louis-Dreyfus as US Vice President Selina Meyer and aired from 2012 to 2019.
