The project is in its early stages and details are being kept under wraps, but we have learned that Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot) will write and executive produce and Marvel Studios will produce.
If the project were to be mass-produced, it would be Jackson’s first regular television role.
Jackson signed a nine-film deal to portray Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His first appearance as a character was in Iron Man in 2008. He has since appeared in several films, most recently in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel. He also appeared as a character on ABC’s Agents of SHIELD
His other recent credits include the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Snakes on a Plane, Unbreakable and its successor Glass, and Coach Carter.
Bradstreet most recently wrote and executive producer on the Emmy award-winning USA Network series Mr. Robot.
