Kelly Day, the newly appointed president of ViacomCBS Networks International for streaming, wasted no time strengthening her team as she prepares for the global rollout of Paramount +.
Day hired Douglas Craig for SVP’s newly created role, content strategy and acquisitions for VCNI’s streaming unit.
He comes from NBCUniversal’s own ticketing company Fandango, where he was VP of content strategy and programming for the past four years. Craig also worked at Roku and was a former vice president of programming at Animal Planet for a long time at Discovery.
Elsewhere, Angela Heckman has been promoted to SVP for streaming revenue and operations, while Marco Nobili has been promoted to SVP for marketing.
Day, augmented by Tom Ryan’s appointment as President and CEO of ViacomCBS Streaming earlier this week, said, “With this outstanding leadership team, an unparalleled global content engine, a proven technology platform, and 180 international infrastructure and partnerships In markets, ViacomCBS’s international streaming team will provide an exceptional entertainment experience for consumers and will significantly disrupt the streaming industry. “
